uberAgent Helpdesk App Updated for uberAgent 7

The uberAgent helpdesk app for Splunk is a free app for support heroes to troubleshoot endpoint issues easily. We’re happy to announce the latest version 1.3, which brings new features of uberAgent 7.0 into the app.

Citrix Session Details

uberAgent 7 provides unprecedented visibility into what’s happening on the session level: bandwidth usage, protocol latency, Citrix policies, video encoding settings, and much more. See this blog post for details.

Citrix Session Settings & Policies

We’ve made the new data available in the Helpdesk app, too. Whenever you analyze a Citrix session, additional charts show up that only make sense for a Citrix session. You get session settings and policies:

And you get session performance metrics like virtual channel data volume:

Note the golden dotted lines in the screenshot above. These are session connection changes. So, whenever a user logs on, logs off, disconnects, reconnects, changes the endpoint device, or similar, you see a dotted line in the chart to help you understand the session’s lifecycle.


We’ve added some goodies here and there in the app for easier usage:

  1. The WiFi signal quality chart is inserted into the Network details section dynamically. In older versions, it was always there, even for non-WiFi connections.
  2. All charts are now column charts for better visibility.
  3. We fixed some bugs.


The app is available for free and can be downloaded from Splunkbase.
